In 2023, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) issued 20 grants totaling $14,095,126 to fund economic development projects in Michigan.

This represents an 87.5% decrease from 2022, when the state received $112,759,426 in funding.

Michigan ranked eighth across the U.S. in total EDA grant funding for 2023. South Carolina topped the list with $30,038,466 in funding across 14 grants.
