Tim Cook CEO of Apple | Apple

Apple has announced the return of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which will be held online from June 9 to 13, 2025. The event will also feature an in-person component at Apple Park on June 9. This year’s conference is free for all developers and will focus on new advancements in Apple software.

Susan Prescott, Apple's vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, stated, “We’re excited to mark another incredible year of WWDC with our global developer community. We can’t wait to share the latest tools and technologies that will empower developers and help them continue to innovate.”

Participants can access the event through various platforms such as the Apple Developer app, website, and YouTube channel. The conference will offer video sessions and online labs where developers can connect with Apple engineers and designers.

The special in-person event at Apple Park will allow developers to view the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union presentations. Attendees can also meet with Apple experts in both one-on-one and group settings. Space for this event is limited, and application details are available on the WWDC25 website.

In addition to these events, Apple continues its support for young developers through programs like the Swift Student Challenge. Notifications regarding this year's applicants' status will be sent out on March 27. Winners may apply for attendance at the special event at Apple Park, while 50 Distinguished Winners will receive invitations to a three-day experience in Cupertino.

Further information about WWDC25 will be provided via the Apple Developer app and website.
