This addition to their jobsite technology solutions aims to enhance safety measures on worksites. SmartDetect provides alerts when objects or bystanders are detected behind a loader, adjusting warnings based on proximity. The new digital component allows jobsite managers to respond more efficiently by integrating with the John Deere Operations Center. It offers advanced features and data reporting capabilities.
The digital license is available for mid-size loaders manufactured after March 2023, including models such as 444, 524, 544, 624, 644, 724, and the 644 X-Tier. Large-size loaders manufactured after November 2022 can also be equipped with this technology. These include P-Tier models like 744, 824, 844, and 904 as well as X-Tier models such as the 744 and 824.
