Papa Johns Canada is set to make a significant contribution to the fight against food insecurity with a donation of $73,411 to Second Harvest. The funds were raised through sales of the Shaq-a-Roni pizza, where one dollar was donated for each pizza sold between October 21 and December 29, 2024.

The cheque presentation will take place at Papa Johns located at 6135 Finch Avenue in Scarborough, Ontario. It is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 10:30 AM ET.

Papa Johns Canada emphasizes its commitment to community support with more than 200 locally owned and operated stores. "The Shaq-a-Roni campaign is more than just a pizza—it’s a chance to make a real impact for those in need," states the company. Since launching the Shaq-a-Roni partnership five years ago, Papa Johns Canada has contributed over $270,000 to communities across Canada. This year's donation will help provide more than 222,000 meals to Canadians nationwide.

Media are invited to attend the event and can contact Alyson Hodson for further information at ahodson@atozag.ca or by calling 780-758-2924.
