The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. has announced the return of Nick Giovanni as a Partner in its Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) Group within Investment Banking. Based in San Francisco, Giovanni will collaborate with the global TMT team to provide strategic advice and solutions for clients considering various transactions.

Giovanni previously served as chief financial officer at Instacart from 2021 to 2024. Before his tenure at Instacart, he spent over two decades at Goldman Sachs, where he advised on numerous financing and strategic transactions globally. His roles included head of the TMT Group, co-head of Technology Investment Banking, and head of Internet Investment Banking.

"Having operated as a technology executive for several years," Giovanni is expected to bring "unique insights" to his new role at Goldman Sachs.

Goldman Sachs is a prominent global financial institution offering a wide range of services to corporations, financial institutions, governments, and individuals. Established in 1869 and headquartered in New York, it operates offices in major financial centers worldwide.
