Goldman Sachs has announced a series of leadership changes aimed at advancing its strategic objectives. The firm's Chairman and CEO, David Solomon, expressed enthusiasm for the new appointments, stating, "This group of leaders represents the very best of our culture of excellence, client service and teamwork. They have made outstanding contributions throughout their careers to our client franchise, operations and market-leading positions across our business."
In the Global Banking & Markets division, Matt McClure, Anthony Gutman, and Kim Posnett will serve as Global Co-heads of Investment Banking. Jason Brauth, Kunal Shah, and Anshul Sehgal are appointed as Global Co-heads of Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities. Dmitri Potishko, Cyril Goddeeris, and Erdit Hoxha will become Global Co-heads of Equities. Kevin Kelly and Sam Morgan will assume roles as Global Co-heads of Client Coverage for Global Banking & Markets – Public.
Further changes include Anthony Gutman and Kunal Shah taking on roles as Co-Chief Executive Officers of Goldman Sachs International. Richard Gnodde is named Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs while Francois-Xavier de Mallmann becomes Chairman of Goldman Sachs EMEA alongside his role as Chairman of Investment Banking.
Will Bousquette continues as Chief Operating Officer of Asset & Wealth Management; Kathleen Connolly remains global director of Internal Audit; Marie Louise Kirk retains her position as Chief Administrative Officer for Asia Pacific. All these leaders will join the Management Committee.
John Storey and Tony Pasquariello will take on additional responsibilities with Meena Flynn as co-heads under One Goldman Sachs initiative aimed at leveraging interconnected franchises for clients' benefit.
Additionally, Jack Sebastian steps up as Vice Chairman while Suhail Sikhtian and Marshall Smith expand their roles to Chairmen in Investment Banking.
