Goldman Sachs has announced the appointment of Philippe Gallone as the Head of Healthcare Investment Banking for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) within its Global Banking & Markets division. In this role, Gallone will collaborate with leadership to enhance client relationships and promote growth in the EMEA healthcare sector.
Gallone is based in London and brings two decades of experience in healthcare banking to Goldman Sachs. Before joining the firm, he was a managing director at Moelis & Company and previously served as co-head of EMEA Healthcare Banking at Morgan Stanley.
In addition to his extensive banking experience, Gallone is a trained physician. He holds a medical degree from the University of Lausanne and an MBA from Georgetown University.
