Amazon Prime members can now benefit from a new offer that allows them to save $0.10 per gallon at BP, Amoco, and AMPM locations, potentially saving an average of $70 annually. This initiative is part of Amazon's ongoing efforts to provide value to its Prime members, as said in a news release dated October 31.

"We’re always asking ourselves how Prime can save members more money, and fuel savings is our latest offer that puts money back into members’ wallets," said Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime. He further explained that the savings on gas could cover nearly half the cost of an annual Prime membership. "Whether they want fast, free delivery on tens of millions of items, savings with exclusive deals and discounts, or access to an extensive collection of entertainment like Prime Video, Prime is committed to helping members save money where it matters to them. It’s never been a better time to save with Prime."

According to the October 23 news release, Amazon plans to introduce an electric vehicle charging benefit in 2025 through BP Pulse, BP’s electric vehicle charging business. More details about this offering will be available next year.

For those interested in accessing the $0.10 per gallon savings, the process begins by ensuring they have a free Earnify account with BP. Members must then visit amazon.com/fuelsavings and activate the offer for use at BP, Amoco, and AM/PM gas stations. The rewards are applied automatically when using a linked payment method at the pump or by entering a phone number.

Amazon operates under four guiding principles: customer obsession rather than competitor focus, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking. The company aims to be Earth’s Most Customer-Centric Company, Earth’s Best Employer, and Earth’s Safest Place to Work. Among its innovations are customer reviews, 1-Click shopping, personalized recommendations, and services such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Kindle Direct Publishing, Fire tablets and TV devices.
