The Cincinnati Bearcats are set to travel over 1,200 miles for their longest away game of the season against the Colorado Buffaloes at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado. The matchup is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, with a late kickoff at 10:15 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ESPN.

Both teams enter the game with a record of 5-2 overall and 3-1 in Big 12 play. A victory would make either team bowl eligible and boost their chances in the Big 12 Championship race. Head Coach Scott Satterfield emphasized that his team's focus remains on preparation rather than standings or media narratives.

"We've certainly talked about where we're sitting in the standings and where we're at right now," Satterfield stated. "Game number eight, playing for a Big 12 Championship, two teams with the same record. There's a lot on the line and that's what we talk about."

Cincinnati's defense faces a formidable challenge against Colorado's high-powered passing offense led by quarterback Shedeur Sanders. Sanders ranks among national leaders in several categories including completions per game and passing yards.

"He's very elusive," Satterfield commented on Sanders' abilities. "He gets outside, and all he's doing is buying time... He'll [Sanders] make you pay, so you better stay in coverage."

The Bearcats counter with redshirt sophomore quarterback Brendan Sorsby who has been impressive this season, ranking highly in various statistical categories including completion percentage and total offense.

Both teams also feature strong defensive units; Cincinnati ranks fourth in scoring defense within the Big 12 while Colorado leads the conference in sacks.

Saturday's game marks an important point in both teams' seasons as they vie for bowl eligibility and position within their conference.
