State Farm is prepared to respond to Hurricane Francine, with the State Farm Catastrophe Team deploying to the Gulf Coast for a strategic response. Team members will be on-site to assist residents during their initial recovery efforts.
The response includes catastrophe claim specialists evaluating damage on the ground and State Farm agents living in affected neighborhoods. They are supported by thousands of employees in centralized care centers across the country, virtually assisting customers with questions and claims. Remote claim teams will also conduct virtual inspections following the storm.
Residents who experience damage from Hurricane Francine are encouraged to file their claims promptly. State Farm customers can submit and manage their claims through multiple channels: via the mobile app, contacting their agent by phone or email, calling 1-800-SFCLAIM, visiting statefarm.com/claims, or texting “CLAIM” to 62789 for a link to file a claim.
State Farm is leveraging technology to expedite and simplify the claims process. Digital pay options allow for direct-deposit settlements into customers' bank accounts, facilitating quicker access to funds regardless of bank operations.
Customers are encouraged to use the State Farm Mobile App and online account access for various self-service options including filing and tracking claims, uploading documents, requesting emergency roadside service, reserving rental cars, and setting up digital pay.
