Rob Zvonar, the football coach for Lincoln-Way East high school, was honored at a community event hosted by Frankfort Gardens, the senior living development proposed by LFI Real Estate, which over 400 community members attended to help celebrate his career.

The event was held at the CD & ME venue on May 24, and featured performances by Johnny Russley, The Beach Bum Band, and the Then Again ensemble. The Then Again ensemble is led by Jayson Polad, who is also works at Lincoln Way East High school coaching the cheerleading team.

Zvonar made a speech during the event to greet everyone in attendance. "Thank you all for being here tonight and a special thank you to the Rose family and Gardens of Frankfort for putting up such a fun event," he said.

"It has been a privilege and an honor to spend the past 30 years at Lincoln Way East Community High School," Zvonar said, reflecting on his career. "'Community' being the key word. What a blessing it's been to live, work and raise a family in Frankfort and in the Lincoln Way Community."

The event was catered by Joey’s Red Hots, a food vendor from the southern suburb communities. Attendees were able to select from a variety of food throughout the evening.

"The success of this event underscores the strength and spirit of our community", said LFI Real Estate CEO Mike Rose. "We are proud to celebrate Coach Zvonar and grateful for the opportunity to bring our community together for such a special occasion. This event highlights our ongoing commitment to supporting and engaging with the people who make Frankfort a wonderful place to live."

Resident would also be able to continue contributing to the local economy
