A study by Deloitte reveals that the global AI in cybersecurity market size was evaluated at US$17.4 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach around US$102.78 billion by 2032, growing at a CAGR of 19.43% between 2023 and 2032.
However, the rapid uptake of AI also presents risks such as data leaks, threats to the software supply chain with third-party code, reputational risk and exposure of confidential information. With GenAI’s fast-increasing footprint, the company has innovated new products to help defenders defend with new capabilities aligned with three essential enterprise use cases: countering AI with AI; securing AI by design; securing enterprise AI usage at runtime; and simplifying cybersecurity.
Palo Alto Networks' product portfolios – Strata, Prisma Cloud and Cortex – provide near real-time detection and threat prevention with behavioral analytics and ML models. The company is also introducing Advanced DNS Security, the industry’s first real-time prevention of DNS hijacking and other takeover attacks, using inline AI-powered analysis of DNS traffic.
To secure enterprise apps that leverage AI models, Prisma Cloud AI-SPM helps organizations discover, classify and govern AI-powered applications. It provides visibility into the entire AI ecosystem to reduce the risk of data exposure and compliance breaches.
Palo Alto Networks is also introducing new tactics to help secure employee usage of Enterprise AI apps and protect data, AI apps and AI models. These include AI Runtime Security, which protects Enterprise AI Applications from emerging attacks at runtime; AI Access Security– a comprehensive solution that enables employees to safely access GenAI applications; and Unit 42 AI Security Assessment for expert guidance on secure employee usage of generative AI.
Finally, Palo Alto Networks is simplifying cybersecurity by introducing powerful copilot capabilities that leverage GenAI to deliver rich insight paired with accurate security outcomes powered by Precision AI.
