LFI Real Estate has announced a new real estate development proposal, named "Gardens of Frankfort,” for an exclusively senior living community.
The Gardens would be designed for senior citizens who are looking to downsize or simplify their living arrangements, but still be able to live in the Frankfort community where they have lived for years and have close friends or family nearby.
The senior living development would contribute to the local tax base by increasing the population and ensuring the seniors continue spending in the Frankfort community. The additional population would not bring with it additional strain on the local school districts because of the age demographic.
LFI Real Estate project owners have produced similar projects with success in the past, including the Gateway Frankfurt development located across the street from the newly proposed “Gardens of Frankfort.”
“Frankfort has always been a community focused on families,” LFI Real Estate CEO Mike Rose said in a release. “What happens when our seniors cannot afford to live anywhere near their children and grandchildren? We think this proposal can benefit the community in so many ways, and I’m just excited to be able to do this in my hometown for the past 40 years.”
LFI Real Estate is a Chicagoland commercial real estate development business. Founded in Mokena, Illinois in 1973, the current CEO is Mike Rose.
