Description
This is an in-person occurrence of Launching Your Own Business, a workshop to learn the basic concepts of starting your own business. The event will take place at the Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church (867 E Walnut St. Evansville, IN 47713). Every successful business is built on a solid foundation. This class will help you: evaluate your business idea, create a sound business plan, manage expectations and increase your access to capital. Southwest Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Business Advisors will help you: Identify personal objectives, skills and resources Describe your business idea and requirements Develop a sales forecast, Identify start-up expenses, Estimate your operating budget & Analyze feasibility results. Participants will receive a 54-page Launching Your Own Business workbook. After completing the workshop, participants are invited to sign up for one-on-one, no-cost counseling with a Southwest Indiana SBDC Business Advisor.
