The Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) has been named the top economic development organization in the US by the International Economic Development Council.

More than 500 submissions were received for the Excellence in Economic Development Awards. The International Economic Development Council awards the EDO of the year honor to organizations that demonstrate program innovation and continuity, leadership quality and consistency, performance benchmarks and measured metrics, goals and objectives and community interaction and impact.
Greater Phoenix Economic Council's recent notable achievements include creating 9,776 new jobs with an average salary of $68,000 by the close of 2020.
