Boise State University issued the following announcement on April 16.

Boise State’s University Pulse Radio is hosting three live digital quarantine concerts to help keep the Boise State community better connected during this time.

“We’re not doing these as self promotion, but rather as a service to our local musicians, hopefully giving them an audience and exposure at a time where they might need it the most,” said Kelsie Rose, general manager of University Pulse Radio.

All three upcoming acts are Boise State students or staff. The performances will be opened with a short interview from University Pulse Radio staff about how campus artists can best be supported during the pandemic.

Cosmic Flower

Cosmic Flower is a psychedelic dream-pop project inspired by Tame Impala, Real Estate, Kurt Vile and Mac Demarco. The brainchild of Thomas Metzger, a Boise State senior majoring in media arts/journalism, it’s billed as “old-school and neo-psychedelia, blues rock, space rock and pop.”
