IAC Industries has recently purchased a 50,000-square-foot industrial plant in Goodyear where the industrial and laboratory furniture manufacturer will move this spring.
IAC's new facility, located at South Bullard Avenue in Goodyear, was purchased for $3 million and is expected to be in full operation by May 4 with all of its products being shipped from the plant, according to the company.
“We are thrilled that IAC Industries selected Goodyear as the location for their new manufacturing plant," Goodyear Mayor Georgia Lord said in a news release. "Products Made in America continue to have significance for our nation's economy and Goodyear is proud that IAC will be building them right here.”
IAC Director Matt McConnell said the company's new Arizona location is ideal for serving its customers.
“We are excited for this new chapter for IAC Industries," McConnell said in a statement. "After nearly 30 years in Southern California, we are confident our decision to relocate to the Grand Canyon State will prove prosperous for our company and the city of Goodyear. Arizona has a tremendous pool of talented people, many of whom we look forward to have joining our operations, and the location is ideal for serving our customers nationwide.''
