The city of Surprise is accepting entries for participation in this year’s Veterans Day parade.
Clubs, organizations, groups or residents who are interested in the parade, which will be held along Bullard Avenue near the Surprise Recreation Campus, can participate.
The parade, now in its third year, will start at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 11 and will honor those who are serving in the military, as well as those who previously served our country.
Entries will be accepted until Oct. 27, and participation in the parade is free. Entry forms can be obtained online at https://www.surpriseaz.gov/491/Special-Events or picked up at the Community & Recreation Services office at 15960 N. Bullard Avenue.
Staging for the parade will begin two hours before it begins. Participants with motorized vehicles must submit a copy of their insurance and driver’s license. No political or campaign floats will be allowed to participate.
