GlobalTranz Enterprises Inc. recently acquired Worthington Logistics Solutions.
GlobalTranz is a technology-driven freight management solution company and its acquisition of Worthington, a freight brokerage and logistics company, will add Worthington's years of customer service to GlobalTranz's portfolio, according to an announcement.
Kiki Worthington, founder of Worthington Logistics Solutions, said the partnership with GlobalTranz has been successful.
"We have worked with GlobalTranz as a freight agent for seven years, and its freight brokerage technology and back-office services have really helped us be successful," Worthington said in the announcement.
Bob Farrell, chairman and CEO of GlobalTranz, explained what Worthington will contribute through the acquisition.
"They bring a strong customer service focus and expertise in freight brokerage operations that will be valuable assets for our organization," Farrell said.
GlobalTranz is the 13th largest freight brokerage firm in America and has acquired three companies in six months, according to the announcement.
