Workiva, a cloud solutions provider, has been named one of Arizona’s top 100 companies.

The list was compiled by BestCompaniesAZ, which is published every five years, according to a press release.

Workiva was listed on the Best of Cool list, which recognizes companies with unique workplace cultures that contribute to happy environments.

Matthew Rizai, the company’s chairman and CEO, said Workiva was honored to be on the list.

“Workiva comprises close-knit teams of people who truly care about each other and our customers,” Rizai said in a press release.

He also said that the company's workplace culture values collaboration, free thinking and innovation.

“We follow a Human Asset Management approach, which focuses first on improving our employees’ quality of life," he said.

Some of the unique aspects of Workiva has been its willingness to offer flexible work hours and telecommuting. The company also offers fitness memberships, gourmet food, game rooms and special spaces designed for collaboration.

The company employs over 1,200 people in 16 cities, with headquarters in Ames, Iowa.

BestCompaniesAZ has been publishing its list for 15 years.

“BestCompaniesAZ has been at the forefront of recognizing sought-after employer brands and creating prestigious workplace awards programs in Arizona since 2002," Denise Gredler, founder and CEO of BestCompaniesAZ, said. "As we celebrate 15 years, we are proud to recognize companies across our state who are making a positive difference in the lives of their employees and our communities."
