The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) has a new resource for permit holders with coverage under the Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) General Permit.

ADEQ’s new Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) template is available in Microsoft Word format for download. Once it is downloaded, users can tailor it for specific types of construction activity, which can save time and money.

The template is not a requirement; it is given merely for convenience while offering a simple way to ensure projects meet permit requirements.

ADEQ is open to comments and suggestions about the SWPPP template.
