Arizona Polymer Flooring has a new regional sales representative and a new production manager.
Arizona Polymer Flooring (APF), based on Glendale, said Tuesday it has hired Paul Scheidmantel as its new regional sales representative and Tim Almond as its new production manager.
Scheidmantel, whom the concrete coatings and polymer flooring company described as an industry veteran with nearly 20 years of experience and an exceptional knowledge of product details, will handle sales in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Almond, who has worked in the decorative floor industry for 25 years and holds more than 30 OSHA certifications, will oversee safety and waste management. Almond previously worked at the decorative concrete flooring company Xcel Surfaces.
“Paul’s knowledge of industrial coatings, concrete restoration, moisture vapor mitigation, decorative concrete, floor leveling and waterproofing is unmatched in the industry and the reason he was tapped to consult on numerous high-profile government projects,” APF CEO Daniel Owen said. “Tim knows the flooring and manufacturing industry inside out, and we saw his experience and attention to detail as vital to ensuring APF’s high standards are met consistently as we poise ourselves for the future.”
