The Arizona Corporation Commission will be holding a special open meeting at 10 a.m. April 28 at 1200 W. Washington St. in Phoenix to discuss summer 2016 energy preparedness.

The commission will be asking questions regarding presentations from utilities and companies.

The meeting's agenda includes presentations from the Arizona Public Service Company, Tucson Electric Power Company, UNS Electric Inc. and the Salt River Project. The meeting will also discuss two presentations from the Interstate Pipeline Companies - the Transwestern Pipeline Company LLC and Kinder Morgan. The meeting will conclude with presentations from electric cooperatives.

There is a possibility that the commissioners will also hold an executive session, which would not be open to the public.
