U.S. Rep. Kyrsten Sinema
U.S. Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) said the House Financial Service Committee has recently approved her two bills aimed at seeking a bipartisan solution to the bureaucracy that is hindering citizens from securing jobs and starting businesses.
The measures would cut down on the regulations which currently prevent small businesses from impacting the economy.
The proposed Helping Angels Lead Our Startups Act aims to connect businesses with angel investors while simplifying the verification requirements.
The proposed Fostering Innovation Act would seek to reduce the regulations that companies working with scientific and medical research often face.
“Arizona small business owners regularly tell me that burdensome and unnecessary regulations stifle their abilities to grow and succeed," Sinema said. "These bills are bipartisan, commonsense solutions that cut red tape and encourage the growth of innovative startups and job-creating small businesses."
