Tombstone Exploration Corp. (TMBXF) has named David Lies to its board of directors, the company announced Friday in Phoenix.
Lies is president of Remanco Inc., a Midwestern property management company, and managing member of CRW Development LLC, which owns commercial and residential real estate. Previously, he worked for Inland Steel Co.
In addition to real estate development, management and investment experience, Lies earned a bachelor's degree from Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
"We would like to welcome David to TMBXF's board of directors,” Tombstone President Alan Brown said. “His experience and expertise in his fields will be an asset to our company. David has extensive experience working with small cap companies with respect to introductions to financings required to execute on the business they are engaged."
Tombstone recently staked valuable gold mining claims in Yuma County, Arizona, engaged a professional geologist, and started initial exploration work on the property.
Tombstone is an exploration and development company in the historic Tombstone Mining District, Cochise County, Arizona. Detailed geophysical studies of the Tombstone Mining District show the presence of a wide array of minerals such as gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, manganese, tellurium, molybdenum and vanadium.
