The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce's Valley Young Professionals (VYP) Program recently welcomed new chair Erin Mettille and vice chair Adam McAnally to its board of directors 

“I’m eager to leverage the momentum that former board chairs have established in this role and … continue to strengthen the organization,” Mettille, business development executive of Slalom Consulting, said. “A strengthening reputation, an inspiring vision and a talented group of passionate people ensures our success, and I’m just proud to be a part of it.”

Designed specifically for up-and-coming professionals ages 25 to 39, the VYP program aims to create the next generation of Phoenix leaders by informing and educating its members on important issues facing the local community, and providing leadership and opportunities for business owners in this burgeoning demographic.

“Phoenix is an amazing place with remarkable people, and we are going to showcase that,”  Adam McAnally, a regulatory analyst at the Salt River Project, said.

Now in its fifth year, the chamber's Valley Young Professionals board of directors strives to retain and attract young professionals to the Greater Phoenix area via networking opportunities, educational programs, behind- the-scenes tours and volunteer projects.

“The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce is honored to include these dedicated community leaders as members…,” Todd Sanders, Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce president and CEO, said. “Erin Mettille and Adam McAnally have a diverse set of skills and experience, and a sincere dedication to advancing the chamber’s mission and helping the next generation of professionals in our community succeed.”

The board, responsible for overseeing the VYP’s programming and direction, identifies content, speakers, venues and community partnerships, and promotes these events and the chamber.
