Avondale and Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona will host a job fair Aug. 24 at Avondale City Hall.

Jeff Scheetz was recently hired by the city of Avondale’s government as chief information officer (CIO) who will oversee the information technology department’s enterprise system strategy.

Over 20 firms from a range of industries will take part in the city of Avondale's job fair May 11.
