The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced the relocation of its Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The center will move from the Meridian Technology Center to a new location at the Red Cross on Monday, July 28, starting at 12:30 p.m.
The DLOC was established to provide assistance to residents, small businesses, and private nonprofit organizations affected by wildfires and straight-line winds that occurred between March 14-21. Chris Stallings, associate administrator of the Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience at the SBA, emphasized the importance of these centers in aiding recovery efforts: “When disasters strike, SBA’s Disaster Loan Outreach Centers perform an important role by assisting small businesses and their communities.”
While walk-ins are welcome at the new location, appointments can also be scheduled in advance through appointment.sba.gov. The previous center at Meridian Technology Center will close permanently on Friday, July 25.
Located at 118 W. Seventh Ave., Stillwater, OK 74074, the Red Cross DLOC will operate from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., opening later on its first day.
Businesses and nonprofits can apply for business physical disaster loans up to $2 million for repairs or replacements of damaged assets. Homeowners may apply for up to $500,000 for primary residence repairs and renters can borrow up to $100,000 for personal property replacement or repair.
Applicants may also qualify for a loan increase of up to 20% for mitigation improvements such as insulating pipes or installing storm windows. Additionally, Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) are available for eligible small businesses and PNPs facing financial losses due to this disaster.
Interest rates vary based on applicant type with terms extending up to 30 years; interest does not accrue until one year after disbursement. Applications can be submitted online via sba.gov/disaster or through contact with SBA’s Customer Service Center.
The deadline for economic injury applications is February 23, 2026.
