Elior Group and IBM have announced a collaboration aimed at transforming Elior Group into a data-driven, AI-focused company. The partnership will create an "agentic AI & Data Factory" to enhance Elior's innovation, digital transformation, and operational performance.

The initiative is part of Elior Group's efforts to leverage IBM’s full services portfolio and expertise in data and AI. IBM will assist in setting up AI agents capable of processing large quantities of data autonomously, optimizing the performance across Elior's business units.

A central feature of this collaboration is the creation of a centralized platform to manage AI agents deployed across Elior Group's operations. This platform will be flexible and scalable to meet specific needs and integrate with existing systems.

Boris Derichebourg, President of Elior, emphasized the significance of this step in their digital transformation. "By collaborating with IBM, we are reaching a new milestone in our digital transformation,” he said. “This effort will enable us to take full advantage of the power of data and artificial intelligence."

IBM will also play a role in implementing Elior’s data governance and change management strategy. Alex Bauer, General Manager IBM Consulting France, stated that “Agentic AI can help accelerate business execution by intelligently orchestrating actions.”

The partnership underscores both companies' commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.

Elior Group is a leader in contract catering and multiservices with strong positions in eleven countries. In fiscal 2023-2024, the group generated €6 billion in revenue.

IBM provides global hybrid cloud and AI solutions to clients worldwide. Their innovations span AI, quantum computing, industry-specific cloud solutions, all backed by commitments to trust and transparency.
