With summer road trips underway, drivers are experiencing relief at the gas pump as prices reach levels not seen since July 2021. The national average for a gallon of gas recently dropped to $3.14 before increasing slightly to $3.17. This marks the first time in four years that summer gas prices have been this low, attributed to an abundant oil supply.
Midway through the year, data shows steady gas prices in 2025 compared to previous years.
In contrast, the cost of electricity at public EV charging stations remained unchanged at 36 cents per kilowatt hour over the past week.
