State Farm has released its 2024 Impact Report, highlighting the company's efforts to support communities and promote sustainability. The report outlines various initiatives undertaken by State Farm in the past year.
The company emphasizes creating a supportive workplace environment. According to the report, "We’re building a workplace where people feel seen, supported and proud of what they do." In 2024, State Farm welcomed over 10,000 new employees, with most working in flexible or remote setups. The report states that 84% of employees would recommend State Farm as a great place to work, and 86% feel connected to the company's mission.
State Farm's community involvement is also detailed in the report. "Giving back is part of who we are," the company notes. In 2024, State Farm contributed $7.6 million for disaster recovery efforts and donated blood to aid thousands of patients. Additionally, they packed over 2.2 million meals for families facing hunger and volunteered more than 1,500 hours teaching financial skills to children.
Sustainability efforts are another focus area for State Farm. The company reports helping 3.5 million customers transition to paperless services and saving enough paper equivalent to over 60,000 trees. Since 2019, greenhouse gas emissions have been reduced by more than half. Furthermore, their distribution centers have kept 95% of waste out of landfills.
The Car Seat Safety Program is highlighted as part of their commitment to family safety: "We checked over 5,500 car seats; we gave out more than 3,000 brand new ones—free of charge."
