Walgreens has announced a series of promotions to help customers save on summer essentials. The offers, which began on June 1, cover various categories including grocery, household items, health and wellness products, beauty and personal care, and seasonal goods.
The retailer is providing deals such as buy one get one 50% off on select sun care products until August 24 and sunglasses until June 28. Additionally, there are discounts of up to 25% on snacks, beverages, wellness items, hydration products, summer gathering essentials, and more during specific periods throughout the summer.
"We know our customers are looking for ways to make their time and money go further this summer," said Tracey D. Brown, EVP, President of Walgreens Retail & Chief Customer Officer. "From compelling deals on summer must-haves to everyday value across our assortment...we’re making it easier for families to get what they want and need."
To enhance convenience in shopping for these deals, Walgreens offers nearly 8,500 locations nationwide along with Same-day Delivery and 1-hour Pickup options. The company has also expanded its Owned Brand assortment with new offerings like Radiant Facial Sunscreen SPF 40 and Super Glow Body Oil SPF 50.
Most Walgreens Owned Brand products are priced competitively at up to 35% below similar national brands. The Summer Savings promotions can be accessed at physical Walgreens locations nationwide as well as online through Walgreens.com or via the Walgreens app.
