Residents and visitors in Covington, Kentucky, have a packed weekend ahead with various events planned throughout the city. The activities include the Covington Maifest 2025 at Goebel Park, which will run from Friday through Sunday. Attendees can expect German-themed festivities such as maypole dancing, live music, and an assortment of food and beverages.

On Saturday morning, volunteers are invited to participate in the Ohio River Sweep Litter Clean-Up Event at 14 Pete Rose Pier. This initiative is organized by Covington’s Solid Waste & Recycling Division in partnership with Keep Covington Beautiful. The event aims to clean up the river's edge and prevent trash from entering the water.

For those interested in nature, a guided Tree Walk will take place on Saturday in Botany Hills. Horticulture agent Brandon George and Covington Urban Forester Patrick Moore will lead participants through a tour highlighting notable trees in the area.

Art enthusiasts can visit the 54th Annual Duveneck Art Show on Saturday at George Rogers Clark Park. The event features regional art displays honoring local artist Frank Duveneck. Visitors can enjoy art under a canopy of trees while listening to live music and sampling food from trucks.

The Northern Kentucky Regional History Weekend offers historical tours and presentations across several communities. On Saturday, attendees can join a guided tour of the Harlan Hubbard exhibit at the Behringer-Crawford Museum. Sunday includes a presentation by the Kenton County Historical Society about Covington riverfront murals.

Live music performances are scheduled throughout the weekend at various venues, including Smoke Justis, Galaxie, Juniper’s, Madison Theater, Molly Malone’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, and more.

Additional activities include yoga classes at Covington Yoga, bingo games at Braxton Brewing Co., wine tasting at Crafts & Vines, and local markets featuring artisan goods and farmers' produce.
