Boeing has announced that Eric Hill will be the new vice president of Investor Relations. Hill will assume responsibility for communicating with the investment community, ensuring the dissemination of information regarding Boeing's market conditions, business operations, performance, and future prospects.
Eric Hill is taking over from Matt Welch, who has advanced to the position of vice president and chief financial officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "Eric's experience across our defense and commercial business, and his time in investment banking will serve him well as he guides our interactions with shareholders and financial analysts," Boeing Chief Financial Officer Brian West commented.
In his previous role, Hill served as vice president of Finance for Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers, a division within Boeing’s Defense, Space & Security sector. He has also held leadership roles in Finance for the 777/777X/767 programs and the Everett site.
The new leadership roles will be effective from May 5.
