John Deere has announced updates to its sprayer lineup, including both John Deere and Hagie models. These enhancements aim to provide farmers with cleaner fields by reducing weed competition, ultimately increasing yield potential.

Josh Ladd, John Deere's go-to-market manager for application, stated, "The updates we are bringing to farmers this season are designed to help them save on input costs and reduce crop damage — two things that help with a farmer's bottom line."

The new See & Spray Select Variable Rate option allows small-grain farmers the flexibility to adjust the amount of solution applied based on specific conditions. According to Ladd, "This allows the farmer the ability to precisely apply product no matter the time of season."

In addition, AutoTrac Turn Automation (ATTA) and AutoTrac Vision 2.0 have been introduced to minimize operator stress and ensure a smoother application process. ATTA is now available on John Deere and Hagie sprayers, ensuring consistent turns at the end of each field pass. This technology assists operators in managing sprayer booms while reducing crop trampling.

AutoTrac Vision 2.0 enhances crop management by keeping sprayer wheels centered within rows, thus minimizing crop damage. It enables faster spraying speeds while maintaining control, allowing operators to focus more on essential tasks.

ExactApply updates include Multi-Rate capabilities across the boom with AutoSelect Pulsing. This technology allows for varied application rates across up to 11 sections of the boom, leading to more precise product placement.
