The new year has begun with the announcement of nine properties receiving the prestigious AAA Four Diamond rating. This accolade is awarded by AAA Inspectors who have resumed their evaluations of hotels and restaurants, assessing hundreds of establishments for their quality.

Stacey Barber, Vice President of AAA Travel, expressed her congratulations to the newly recognized properties. "We congratulate our first Diamond properties of the year and welcome them into the AAA Diamond family," she stated. She emphasized the role that AAA Inspectors have played over nearly 90 years in aiding travelers to make informed decisions, adding that they are excited for another year of expert inspections.

AAA Inspectors conduct unannounced visits throughout North America, the Caribbean, and Costa Rica to assess properties based on four key criteria: Cleanliness, Comfort, Cuisine, and Consistency.

The new recipients of the AAA Four Diamond rating include five hotels: Graduate by Hilton Princeton in New Jersey; Hilton Rochester Mayo Clinic Area in Minnesota; InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk in Texas; Le Meridien Fort Worth Downtown also in Texas; and Omni Severin Hotel in Indiana. Additionally, four restaurants were recognized: César, Hutong, Sushi Noz—all located in New York—and Zest in La Ribera, Baja California Sur, Mexico.

These ratings are part of a monthly update process as inspectors continue their evaluations throughout the year. Currently, there are approximately 145 Five Diamond hotels and 65 Five Diamond restaurants alongside roughly 1,750 Four Diamond hotels and 500 Four Diamond restaurants.

Travelers interested in visiting these distinguished locations can use Trip Canvas—AAA's free travel planning tool—or consult with a AAA travel agent for recommendations and reservations.
