SBA Administrator Isabel Casillas Guzman and FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell visited Los Angeles to support federal disaster response efforts as three major wildfires burn across Southern California. The visit underscored the Biden-Harris Administration's commitment to providing relief to those affected by the fires, highlighting available resources from both SBA and FEMA for business owners, homeowners, and renters.

The administrators attended a briefing at the Los Angeles County Emergency Operations Center. They received updates on wildfire containment efforts and coordination among federal, state, and local agencies. Their presence reinforced the federal government's dedication to addressing urgent challenges and deploying necessary resources to impacted communities.

Administrator Guzman also met with officials from the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce to discuss the economic impact of the wildfires on small businesses. In Pasadena, she joined U.S. Senator Adam Schiff at a Red Cross-operated shelter where they served dinner to survivors and listened to their stories.
