According to Amazon Jobs, responsibilities for the role include creating financial models, forecasts, and reporting systems. The finance manager will also provide insights to improve business performance and address issues related to data integrity and financial controls. Additionally, the role involves driving business analysis to enhance financial tools and processes, managing strategic decision-making, ensuring accurate financial reporting, mentoring team members, collaborating with business partners, and leading continuous improvements in financial operations.
Candidates are expected to have a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and at least five years of relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, process improvement, large-scale data mining, and familiarity with financial systems like SQL, Oracle, and SAP. An MBA is also preferred. The base salary ranges from $85,900 to $179,500 per year depending on geographic location.
