Freshman guard Kamora Morgan has been recognized for her impressive performance on the basketball court. The Horizon League announced on Monday that Morgan, a native of Ontario, earned her second consecutive Freshman of the Week award. This recognition follows her significant contributions to the Norse team in recent games.

Morgan played a pivotal role in close matches against Bradley and Eastern Kentucky. In the game against Bradley, she scored seven points, collected two rebounds, and provided an assist during her 29 minutes on the court. Her free throw accuracy was notable as she made five out of six attempts.

In the match against Eastern Kentucky, Morgan was third in scoring for her team with 13 points. She maintained her free throw success rate by again making five out of six shots. Additionally, she recorded four rebounds, two assists, and a steal while playing a team-high 33 minutes.

Looking ahead, Morgan and the Norse are set to begin their Horizon League play on Wednesday with an away game against Cleveland State Vikings.
