Morgan Stanley has opened a new office in Mumbai, located at Commerz III, International Business Park within Oberoi Garden City in Goregaon. The facility will consolidate the firm's Global Center operations in Mumbai into a single campus for over 8,500 staff members. The one million square foot space is designed to promote a modern and collaborative work environment with advanced technology and sustainable solutions.

Gokul Laroia, Asia CEO & Co-Head of Global Equities at Morgan Stanley, highlighted India's role in the firm's strategy: “India’s economic growth, technological innovation, and demographic advantage make it an integral part of the Firm’s regional and global strategy. Our real estate investment... reflects Morgan Stanley’s continued commitment to India.”

Arun Kohli, Country Head for India at Morgan Stanley, remarked on the significance of their operations in India: “Since we established our first Global Center in India over two decades ago, our operations have grown tremendously and evolved to become a key driver of innovation and transformation.”

Mandell Crawley, Chief Human Resources Officer based in New York, and Anahita Tiwari, Head of India Global Centers at Morgan Stanley, were present during the inauguration.

Anahita Tiwari commented on the new facility: “The new Mumbai Commerz III campus provides a curated and seamless experience for our people... We are excited to welcome employees into a new world-class office facility.”

The campus features amenities such as food halls with diverse options, an onsite fitness center and gym, a health center with comprehensive services including acute care and specialty services. It also emphasizes inclusion with facilities like childcare centers for over 100 children between six months to six years old.

Sustainability was prioritized with designs aiming for LEED Gold rating and FITWEL certification through measures like energy-efficient lighting and reduced water consumption.
