State Farm has responded to the devastation caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, prioritizing the safety of those affected. The company has mobilized agents and employees to assist customers and communities impacted by the storms.

State Farm quickly entered the affected areas once it was safe, deploying claim representatives and establishing Catastrophe Customer Care sites across states hit by the hurricanes. Thousands of claims employees are working both on-site and virtually nationwide to manage this event.

For those needing assistance with claims, State Farm offers multiple contact options: through their mobile app, via phone or email with a State Farm agent, calling 1-800-SFCLAIM, visiting statefarm.com/claims, or texting "CLAIM" to 62789. Various phone numbers are available for different types of claims including auto/home/property, auto glass only, health, and life claims.

Several Customer Care Sites have been set up in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee for walk-up claim filing and general inquiries. Appointments are required for vehicle inspections at these locations.

After submitting a claim, a handler will reach out to discuss damage assessment and policy coverage. State Farm emphasizes its commitment to providing support throughout the claim process with a team approach aimed at delivering efficient service around the clock.

Beyond customer support, State Farm has contributed $1.25 million in disaster relief funding. This includes $1 million to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Helene relief efforts across impacted states; $50,000 to Convoy of Hope for emergency supplies in Florida and North Carolina; $100,000 each to Midwest Food Bank supporting Florida and Georgia communities; and Feeding the Carolinas aiding North and South Carolina communities.

Additional resources offered include insurance basics related to flood insurance facts and hurricane season guides as well as disaster preparedness tips such as what to do after a hurricane or during power outages.
