Jamie Contreras, a new Dental Associate at Babylon Dental Care, emphasized the importance of finding a workplace that aligns with her values for her career.

"I wanted a place where I could grow while staying true to patient care and service," said Dr. Jamie Contreras, Associate Dentist.

Contreras said that working in an environment resonating with her personal goals and philosophy is crucial. "What drew me to Babylon Dental Care was not just the opportunity to practice dentistry, but the sense of community and shared values," she said. "I saw a place where I could grow professionally while staying true to my commitment to patient care and service."

"Right now, I really just want to focus on learning and becoming a better dentist," she added. "Babylon Dental Care offers that space to develop my skills while staying connected to my core philosophy, which is centered on patient well-being and continuous improvement."

Studies from the Harvard Business Review indicate that young professionals across various fields increasingly value job alignment with personal purpose, suggesting a future where meaningful work becomes more common.

Office culture in dental practices plays a significant role in their success. The Dental Assisting National Board highlights team morale, effective communication, and patient care as key elements that elevate dental practices.

According to the Babylon Dental Care website, Contreras graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She furthered her education by completing a residency in General Practice Dentistry at Northwell Health Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
