Amazon has invited community members to "Experience the Magic of a Wish" at the September 14 Run/Walk event in Alexandria, according to a September 12 announcement from Amazon and Make-A-Wish.

Amazon associates and community members have an opportunity to engage in physical activity and support an important cause this weekend at AJ Jolly Campground, located at 1501 Race Track Road in Alexandria. The fundraiser will include face painting, live music, a radio DJ, a visit from 'Who Dey' from the Cincinnati Bengals, and more. The event starts at 9:30 a.m. and wraps up at 2 p.m.

According to Amazon, it will host Make-A-Wish’s children and families impacted by critical illnesses for a fun, immersive day at KCVG’s air hub in Hebron, Kentucky later this year. Included will be a day of touring the facility, hearing from operational leaders, and visiting the 767 aircraft and cockpit.

Amazon's Air Hub is located at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (KCVG), according to About Amazon. This 800,000-square-foot facility represents a $1.5 billion investment and is the center of Amazon's air cargo network. The hub boasts cutting-edge technology, including robotic systems that move packages efficiently. Amazon is committed to contributing to the community by engaging with local residents and addressing the needs of underserved groups.
