Six hotels and two restaurants have recently been awarded the prestigious AAA Four Diamond designation. This recognition is given to properties that offer upscale amenities and distinctive fine dining experiences. AAA Inspectors conduct unannounced visits to hotels and restaurants across North America, the Caribbean, and Costa Rica throughout the year to objectively assess the 4 Cs of AAA Diamonds: Cleanliness, Comfort, Cuisine, and Consistency.
The newly designated AAA Four Diamond Hotels are:
- JW Marriott Dallas Arts District in Dallas, Texas
- Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California
- Radisson Plaza Hotel at Kalamazoo Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan
- The Global Ambassador Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona
- The Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas North in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii
- The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka’anapali in Ka’anapali, Maui, Hawaii
The newly designated AAA Four Diamond Restaurants are:
- Bourbon Steak in New York, New York
- Stubborn Seed in Miami Beach, Florida
AAA updates its Diamond lists monthly as inspectors continue their evaluations throughout the year. Currently, there are approximately 140 Five Diamond hotels and 60 Five Diamond restaurants alongside 1,750 Four Diamond hotels and 500 Four Diamond restaurants.
Travelers can plan visits to these Diamond properties using Trip Canvas—AAA’s free travel planning tool—or by connecting with a AAA travel agent for recommendations and hotel reservations.
