Non-Profit Spotlight on the Gilbert Boys & Girls Club

Boys and Girls Club of the Valley at the Gilbert Location continues to serve more than 100 kids a month and we couldn't be more honored to witness the growth of our members year after year.

Whether it is during after-school time or summer camp, or in one of our other enrichment programs, BGCAZ offers unique experiences in the arts, physical fitness, character development, and leadership training. We also provide our kids with proven educational programs and academic support — along with plenty of healthy fun and recreation.

Our caring, professional, well-trained staff help to empower children and young adults to succeed in school, to develop mentally and emotionally, and to reach their full potential as responsible, caring, productive citizens.

At just $80 per month during the school year (including snacks and a hot, nutritious dinner at no additional cost), BGCAZ is not only affordable — it is the best deal around! We support families’ work schedules by staying open until 7 pm during after school time, ensuring that parents are able to fulfill their work obligations without worrying about their children’s safety or well-being.

COVID-19 Update:

The health and safety of our community is a top priority. So that we can continue to offer in-person events, we ask guests to review and adhere the following protocols. These protocols will remain in effect while our community is in Substantial or High Transmission:

  • All individuals, including those who are fully vaccinated, are encouraged to wear masks while inside the building, especially when distancing of 6 or more feet cannot be accommodated.
  • If you have been in close contact (within 6 feet of someone for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period) with someone who has COVID-19; OR if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, such as fever, chills, cough, difficulty breathing, new loss of taste or smell, or other symptoms; OR if attending an in-person meeting would compromise the health of you or a family member, please do not attend any meeting or event in-person. We will gladly accommodate you with a virtual attendance link, if possible.

As we navigate through this together, you can rest assured that our team will work diligently to maintain high standards and quality programming to deliver a valuable experience to you, even with these protocols in place. We will continue to monitor local, state, and federal guidance and will adjust these protocols as needed. The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to cancel any in-person activity at any time through the guidance of our Board of Directors.
