Wells County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 4.
The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff and Ambassadors recognized owner Josh Bell and staff of Corrective Chiropractic as the September Member of the Month. Corrective Chiropractic is located at 360 N. Main Street in Bluffton at the Dutch Mill Plaza.
Bell has been a Chiropractor for nine years and early in his career he worked for a variety of chiropractor offices gaining experience. Approximately five years ago, Bell bought the chiropractor business located at Dutch Mill Plaza from a previous doctor. “The first thing I did when I came to town was meet with the Chamber of Commerce to get direction and advice about the community,” said Bell. “I had been involved with Chambers of Commerce in other communities such as Michigan and Fort Wayne, and Wells County is the best one by far.”
“In the past five years I have been so impressed by the growth and development. Downtown Bluffton continues to grow, the trail system was a great addition to the community, more businesses are coming, and it seems like talent is sticking around,” stated Bell. “I have never practiced in a small town before, and it is nice to see how everyone helps one another with that family-oriented mentality.”
Corrective Chiropractic serves patients from children to adults whether for maintenance and wellness care, specific joint pain or pain from injuries, pinched nerves, sports injuries, spinal injuries, disc issues, sciatic pain, expecting mothers, or pediatric care. Bell explains, “we care for people who want to maintain and stay healthy, kids who want to stay more focused in school, or more complicated cases where a patient has been to other doctors with no relief. My goal is to extend the quality of life and health span for individuals.”
Bell works with patients one-on-one utilizing the equipment, resources, and knowledge to provide a plan for each individual. “We have specialized X-ray machines that tell us exactly how to work on people, Thermography to test the nervous system, neurological exams, orthopedic exams, and soft wave technology. Through our testing and accuracy makes all the difference in the world for patient care, in addition to, layering dietary advice, exercises, stretching, and supplements.”
“Many Chiropractors are treating symptoms, which is great, and we do care about that piece; however, we want people to be healthy and functioning and take a more proactive approach and fix the issues,” said Bell. “We want to give people options and they can choose what they want to do. We have to work together for results.”
Corrective Chiropractic currently has two Massage Therapists on site. “Todd Zorich is amazing and is always researching and learning how to help people even more. He specializes in deep tissue work and works with athletes. Todd is experienced in cupping, Kinesio taping, and scraping,” explained Bell. “He helped me implement the soft wave technology which shoots a sound wave through the body to do deep tissue work without doing any damage to the cells. The system stimulates blood flow and stem cells to come to the area and works on people pain free.”
“Audra Kaszowski is our second Massage Therapist, and she came to us right out of school,” said Bell. “Audra has accelerated since she started and specializes in pregnancies and pediatrics. She has gotten really strong and can do the deep tissue work as well. Audra has been a great fit to our caring office.”
Bell strongly encourages people to use Corrective Chiropractic as a resource for advice. The practice continues to offer programs and strategies to help people with needs. “We are excited to bring in a line of supplements in the fall and working with a lab for blood work that can be very specific about finding chronic diseases. We will be offering a weight-loss program because excess weight causes issues such as inflammation, which is then caused by 80-90% of chronic diseases in our country. In addition, we have a Migraine Seminar being scheduled and other topics in the future.”
Bell concluded saying that he appreciates Wells County and is happy to be in the community. “This is the best community around and we are super thankful, and it is because of God that we are right here.”
Corrective Chiropractic is open Monday and Wednesday from 8am to 6pm and Thursday from 9am to 5pm.
