Apex Energy Group recently issued the following announcement.

Ice Driving Events are open to the community. All drivers, including members of Audi Club Glacier Lakes (ACGL), members of other chapters of Audi Club North America (ACNA), and non-members, are welcome to participate in this skill enhancing event.

Our goal is simple: ACGL strives to educate, build skills and promote the application of driving techniques on the street that go well beyond what is taught in most drivers’ education courses found in high schools.

We use a very shallow lake in Scott County MN to provide a safe and structured environment for our students. We do NOT hold an event unless the lake has sufficient ice depth to accommodate our event, and we test that depth prior to each event.

All makes and models are welcome provided they are in good mechanical condition. No fluid leaks!

Costs:

- Audi Club Members $50

- Non-members $60
