Marion-Grant County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Nov. 27.

Rankings for 2019 released by Niche.com recognize Indiana Wesleyan University as No. 1 on the “Best College Dorms in Indiana” list. This is the second year in a row IWU has earned this ranking.

IWU also ranks highly on Niche’s “Best College Dorms in America” list, coming in at No. 6 out of 1,370 schools nationwide. Best colleges were calculated by combining millions of statistics and student reviews into one overall college ranking. Highest ranked colleges offer outstanding campus housing that is safe and clean with modern amenities at reasonable prices.

Students on IWU’s campus can reside in one of eleven living areas. With halls featuring expansive common spaces, suite-style rooms and laundry facilities on every floor, students can make these spaces their own and engage in the unique on-campus community at IWU. Additionally, IWU has recently ranked highly on a number of other regional and national lists, including:

#2 Best Colleges for Nursing in Indiana, Niche.com

#4 Best College Campuses in Indiana, Niche.com

#4 Safest College Campuses in Indiana, Niche.com

#5 Best Undergraduate Teaching Programs in Midwest, U.S. News & World Report

#6 Top Schools for Engagement, Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education

“We are honored that Indiana Wesleyan University is being recognized in all of these wonderful categories,” said Dr. David Wright, president of IWU. “We are passionate about providing a truly great Christ-centered learning environment that permeates the entirety of our students’ experiences so that they can grow academically, socially and spiritually.”
