Residents of Buckeye are invited to public meetings to review the city’s proposed budget for the fiscal year 2018-2019.
In each meeting, residents will be able to ask questions during an open discussion shortly after each presentation provided by the city manager and finance director.
Public meetings are scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. May 21 at the Festival Fire Station #704 Community Room, 273360 W. Wagner Complex; 10 to 11 a.m. May 29 at the Buckeye Community Center, 201 E. Centre Ave.; and 6 to 7 p.m. May 31 in the Coyote Branch Library Program Room, 21699 W. Yuma Road, No. 116.
The City Council will discuss and review the proposed budget during its regularly scheduled meetings from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. May 24 and June 5. They are scheduled to adopt the tentative budget at 6 p.m. June 5 and then adopt the final budget at 6 p.m. June 19.
The council meetings will be held at Buckeye City Hall, 530 E. Monroe Ave.
