Trice Electric Cooperative recently received approval from the Arizona Corporation Commission to expand its services in Pinal County.

Trico will now be able to supply power to two new planned communities covering 1,700 acres 35 miles northwest of Tuscon. The new developments will add to the cooperative's current customer base of more than 43,000 meters.

Trico Electric Cooperative is a nonprofit, member-owned utility started in 1945 by farmers from the Avra Valley.
